Il y a quelques années, Diane Houde est partie deux mois en Australie à la rencontre du peuple aborigène. Dans le centre du pays, elle a découvert un peuple noble. L’art aborigène, avec ses couleurs ocre et terracotta, l'a immédiatement séduit. Cette forme d'art est un véhicule de communication, une façon de représenter leur culture et leur spiritualité. Vivement interpellée par leur philosophie, elle a aussitôt sentit une complicité. De cette connection est née son inspiration pour la collection Influence aborigène.
Aboriginal Influence
A few years ago, because of a strong desire to meet with the aboriginal people of Australia, Diane traveled throughout the continent for two months, In the center of the country she discovered a noble people and its culture. She immediately fell in love with its form of art adopting the colours of ochre and terracotta. This form of art is not only a vehicle of communication but also a way of transmitting their culture and spirituality. Moved by their philosophy, she felt connected to the people. This connection is what inspired the collection, Aboriginal Influence.
